Prep’d Motorsport currently manages the Lotus Exige GT3 Turbo for team owner and driver Angelo Lazaris. Angelo competes regularly in the Outright class of the Australian GT Championship. The Lotus is one of only a handful of Exige GT3 racecars in the world, purpose built for the FIA GT3 class. This car is using a turbocharged Toyota 2ZZ-GE engine.
In May 2010, Angelo handed the Lotus over to V8 Supercar driver Warren Luff at the World Time Attack Challenge held at Eastern Creek. The combination of Luff and the Prep’d Motorsport Lotus Exige GT3 Turbo produced a stunning result with a superlap of 1:32.273 placing the team 4th Outright against some of the world's fastest purpose-built Time Attack cars. This was a stellar result for the Prep’d Motorsport team with the Lotus also placing as the fastest Australian car and the fastest rear-whell drive car of the Challenge.
Prep’d Motorsport Chief Lachlan Cook has traveled extensively overseas working with various Australian teams at international motorsport events including pit mechanic support for Mal Rose’s V8 Supercar Experience team at the Nürburgring 24 Hour race and the Malaysian 12 Hour.
Lachlan has also given mechanical support to Rick Shaw‘s Mazda RX7, V J Angelo’s Lotus 7 and Angelo Lazaris’ EVO 8 and Lotus all at Targa Tasmania.
